YAS ELITE ELEVATION PROGRAM (YEEP)

We believe in offering multiple pathways to success for dancers. Our YEEP Program, an extension of our competitive program, provides the same high-quality training in a low-stress, non-competitive environment. Dancers can choose their level of commitment, whether preparing for auditions, building foundational skills, joining school teams, or exploring choreography. The YAS Elite Elevation Program caters to every dancer’s needs.

YEEP PROGRAM

YOUNG ARTIST SPACE ELITE ELEVATION PROGRAM

  • Dancers who love to dance but prefer not to compete
  • Dancers with other sports commitments who can’t fully dedicate time to the competitive team

HOW DOES THE YEEP PROGRAM WORK?

  1. Dancers typically begin in Mini YEEP and may progress to the full YEEP program based on age or by invitation following staff evaluations conducted throughout the year.

  • The YEEP Program prepares dancers for potential placement on our Elite Competitive Team or offers classes for those who prefer not to compete but still wish to expand their dance training.
  • Dancers have the opportunity to advance in levels throughout the year and may be invited to join the Competitive Team at any point, based on skill development and growth.
  • Our staff conducts regular evaluations of all dancers, with open communication between the team, dancers, and families about each dancer's skill level and areas for improvement to support their progress and potential level advancement.

YEEP PROGRAM LEVELS

MINI YEEP PATHWAY - LEVEL ONE

Level One classes are designed for beginner dancers, typically aged 6 to 8, and focus on building essential skills and technique across various dance genres. Instruction emphasizes foundational techniques, movement quality, and developing strength, flexibility, and coordination. Classes progress at a comfortable pace, allowing dancers to master key concepts and build confidence in their abilities.

YEEP PATHWAY - LEVEL TWO

Level Two classes are designed for intermediate dancers, typically aged 8 to 12, who are ready to build on the skills they've previously learned. This level is ideal for students aspiring to compete, join school dance teams, dance in college, or simply continue growing their love for dance. Classes build upon the foundational techniques from Level One, introducing more complex combinations and choreography. Dancers work together to refine their technique, artistry, and musicality while beginning to explore and develop their own unique artistic voice.

YEEP PATHWAY - LEVEL THREE

Level Three classes are pre-professional/advanced-level courses for dancers aged 13 and older who are highly skilled in multiple genres. This level focuses on refining each dancer's unique artistic voice and exploring movement quality at an elevated level. Dancers will engage in a deeper exploration of various dance styles, with a focus on building strength, flexibility, and stamina. Precision, musicality, and artistic expression are key areas of emphasis, as students prepare for both competitive opportunities and careers beyond the stage.
